Discovering MEE Worksheet

Empowerment starts by reflecting and understanding yourself, your energy, and knowing that you are enough. The journey can start right now, and you already have everything you need. Find a spot where you do your best thinking, have paper or a journal, and a writing utensil. Work through the questions and begin the process towards the mindset that will empower YOU!
Me: Know Yourself Now
- Think through your past, most memorable and traumatic experiences, and reflect on how they may be influencing you right now.
- Are you holding on to past pain? Are you afraid of experiencing this type of pain again, and how is that effecting you currently? Is fear holding you back in ways you might not have anticipated?
- What places and situations have made you feel safe and secure?
- Are you working to recreate joyful moments from your past? Is this helping you or hurting your ability to live in the moment?
- Process what your goal truly is.
- What do you want to accomplish?
- Is there a feeling you want to have at the end?
- What reaction do you want from others?
- How do you define success?
- Write out what success really means to you.
- How do you want to feel when you reach success?
- Are there people you want to witness your success? Why?
- What do you want to happen after you reach your goal?
- What will reaching this goal give you?
- Write out what success really means to you.
- Create a Mind Map where you place your goal in the center of a sheet of paper.
- Surrounding the goal, write all the words that you believe relate to accomplishing that goal.
- Define each word to the best of your ability.
- Reflect on if your definitions are reasonable. After completing the Energy & Enough sections, come back to your definitions and reflect again to see if your approach is the best for YOU.
Energy: Finding Your Fuel Source
- Think through what truly makes you happy in life.
- What makes you excited, sparks your curiosity, or gives your that feeling of giddy anticipation? What are moments you wish would never end? The items on your to-do list that always moves up to the top?
- Write down what comes to mind in your personal life, in your careers, how you like to relax, what’s your escape?
- Write down what drains you. What do you wish you didn’t have to do? what moves to the bottom of your to-do list? What leaves you feeling exhausted?
- Create a week schedule reflecting on your own fuel tank.
- Can you put in additional items that fill your tank?
- Can you space out the items that drain your tank?
- Can you change your approach & mindset to your career that is more in line with what energizes and empowers you?
- Are you focused on aspects that drain you or are you focused on the areas that empower you?
- Could a mindset & focus switch create a more fulfilling process, increased productivity, and improved results?
Enough: Developing Self Confidence
- Think through what creates your sense of confidence.
- How do you define enough?
- Where did your standard get created?
- What elements determine if you are enough?
- Who in your life influences if you feel like enough?
- Write out what you believe others expect of you. Reflect on if the person truly expects this or is this self-imposed.
- How do you define enough?
- Write out the perfect image of who you wish you could be?
- How do you describe the perfect employee, spouse, partner, parent, leader etc.?
- Are you comparing yourself to your perfect image?
- Why do you need to be this image? Are you comparing yourself to an unobtainable standard?
- Are you vulnerable and honest with those around you?
- What do you believe are the consequences to showing weakness, imperfections, vulnerability?
When you understand and empower yourself, you can then start to understand what empowers others. You can see your insecurities, work through them, and process how they were influencing your decision-making ability, your reactions, and your interactions with those around you.
